Sleepsto lets you create and share countdowns (“Events”). We respect your privacy and only collect what’s needed to provide the service.
What we collect
- Account data: Email address and display name when you sign up (Email/Password, Google, or Apple).
- User content: Event titles and dates you save.
- Analytics: Aggregate usage (e.g., page views). We may use Google Analytics.
- Device storage: For offline use, your Events may be cached in your browser’s
localStorage.
How we use your data
- Authenticate you and keep you signed in.
- Store and sync your Events across devices.
- Improve reliability and performance.
Where data is stored
We use Firebase services (Google Cloud). Passwords are never stored by Sleepsto — Firebase Auth stores salted/hashed credentials. Event data is stored in Firestore under your user ID.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with our service providers (e.g., Firebase) to operate Sleepsto.
Your choices
- Access / export: Email us to request a copy of your data.
- Delete: You can delete Events. You may also request account deletion via email.
- Cookies / storage: You can clear browser storage to remove local caches.
If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify users.
